U.S. Business Growth Hits 52-Month High as Hiring Accelerates Under Trump
Business activity in the United States is expanding at its fastest pace in more than four years, according to the latest S&P Global data.
The S&P Global Flash U.S. Composite PMI climbed to 56 in August, marking the strongest business growth since April 2022. Hiring also accelerated, reaching its fastest pace in 19 months, while manufacturing activity continued to show solid growth.
